Allow me to introduce myself…
I’m Alex Ryan, a Bozeman, Montana based creative entrepreneur, artist, wife, and mama (this title is the one I’m most proud of).
Right now, I’m probably sipping a cup of coffee… or a jalapeno margarita if it’s after 5! If I'm not focusing on client work at the moment, chances are that my dreamboat husband, Chris, and I are obsessing over anything and everything our new daughter, Everest, is doing and/or cuddling our floofy sheepadoodles, Wanda and Dolly.
I find a lot of my inspiration in nature, the history of the American West, and Dolly Parton (a true American treasure). And yes, my dog is named after her.

I’m kind of a walking contradiction... I want to change the world, but I’m also tired and I need a snack. I fully embrace my nerdy side, but sometimes I’m so basic that it hurts. I love to travel the world and experience everything new and exotic. But sometimes I sit on my couch for hours binging The Real Housewives or 90 Day Fiance. I love people, but I’m introverted and need lots of alone time to recharge. I’m competitive and I like to take charge. But you want me to decide where to go for dinner? Forget it! I’m a big fan of the oxford comma and the ampersand. Sushi is my favorite food group. Montana is my favorite place to be (unfortunately, not the best place for a sushi addict). But some of my happiest days are spent creating art for my wonderful clients - you!
About Summit & Sage
From receiving my BFA in Virginia at James Madison University to a marketing firm in Big Sky, Montana to a Fashion House in NYC, I covered all ends of the spectrum before coming back to the town I was born in -- Red Bank, New Jersey. This is where I founded Summit and Sage in 2018, while planning my own wedding! Since then, I've taken my family and my business back to Montana, surrounded by all the places and things that inspire my contemporary western design aesthetic. My heart has always been and always will be in big sky country.

To use our unique experiences in branding, graphic design, marketing, fine art, and textile design to help you share your love story and express yourself in a unique way. With open arms, I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, genders, ages, religious beliefs, cultural backgrounds, and ethnicities. I believe it is so important to be comfortable in expressing yourself through the design process when working with me, and to celebrate your identity individually AND as a couple in your stationery. My job centers around telling stories, & no matter what your story sounds like, I’m here for it!
